Hi! I’m glad to hear you are enjoying the pack n_n. I have a question, though, where's the yennefer hair pack? The files I see are not the same as the ones you listed, except for Josephine and nimue (in the pdf you attached) or am I missing something? I'm only using frosty, since my laptop won't support dai mod manager anymore. If in need of further assistance, let me know, and I will reply as soon as I am able.Hello! first of all, thank you for the hair repack, I loved it ^^ I installed a couple of hairstyles and they work perfectly. In the "DAOrigins.exe Properties" window, click the tab labeled "Compatibility", click the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", and select "Window XP (Service Pack 3)" in the drop down box under "Run this program in compatibility mode for:". To run the game in Compatibility mode, go to your games install/binship folder, right click "DAOrigins.exe" or "DAOrigins", and click the option in the pop-up menu "Properties". Running the game in Compatibility mode will help ensure better stability, along with the LAA Patch, and the Affinity fix. The game has a variety of issues running on modern Windows operating systems, 7 and up.
Run the game in Compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). This mod above will fix a variety of issues within Origins. I recommend just installing the pre-patched exe, but if you wish to do it manually, go right ahead: A link to the guide detailing the method of install. With the Patch, you'll be able to enable the game to more amounts of RAM/Memory for better stability, as well as textures properly loaded. The LAA Patch for Origins: Origins amount of Ram/Memory that it can use is limited due to it being an older title. By all means, try doing the other fixes mentioned on the guide if you wish too.
Skim the guide to the section labelled "Frequent random crashes" and follow the instructions. WIth the following link to a guide, you'll be able to tell the game to only use 1 core of your cpu so the game runs as it was designed to be ran. Using modern cpus by default with Origins often results in strange glitches, crashing, and bugs in the game. The Affinity Fix for Origins: The game was designed for older lower count core cpus compared to modern cpus. Hi MeinChurro, this is ZDuke17, and I will try my best to help you.
